The recent crime figures published stating that crime is decreasing is very misleading as most people accept a small amount of crime and dont report it because nothing is ever done, you just get a crime number and thats it. The non reporting of crime is a bigger percentage than the percentage of the crime that has dropped just government propaganda makes it look good.

We have found out even some breakins are not being reported because of the lax way the authorities deal with it the " They never catch them anyway attitude " is very prevellent.
