You have to take big steps if you want to be the first to get the good stuff. The council think drugs is like an Exocet missile you can see it but you can't do a thing about it, So they ignore it.

Head in sand treatment again I'm afraid why bother the police (if you can find one thats bothered) when our "do good" courts let them off again, council? forget it they couldn't give a toss, must spend money wisely like the £6'000 plus on the flower planters and the village centre, or whatever it's name is this week.Me I've just lost interest.

We are sad and sorry to here you have lost interest. We probably know why a lot of residents lose interest there is not a deal being done for the normal man on the street, They dont have potfulls of public money to spend like the council do, on every little whim that takes there fancy. We dont know about you, but we read in the local papers that the council have done a survey with the residents or have been out on the street asking for ideas, and these ideas are what the council act on. I and my colleagues at rroka have been lifelong residents of killamarsh and not one of us have seen or heard of somebody being asked about what they think of these ideas or plans. As we know the leader and council papers only print what they are told so if you tell them there has been a survey they will print it. When we go to the library to see the minutes of the council meetings, they are usually a year to eighteen months behind so any queries to the decisions, made by the council, are to late because they have allready been put in place so any lobbying is fruitless. Same as the work on the canal, sorry lack of work on the canal .

Have you had a look on the Parish Council website – the minutes are there from March 2008 to June 2009, perhaps that's why they arent in the library.
Heres the address http://www.killamarsh-pc.gov.u…..inutes.asp that should get you right up to date
