I noticed the invasion of the Gold thieves is about to come to fortress labour in the near future, any one thinking about selling un-wanted gold should look at these two sites before accepting the price from these gold diggers.

bjcuk.com

hattongardenmetals.com

both sites will give you todays prices which are approximately double the price these do-gooders will give you, try a comparison with

gotgoldgetcash.com

don't be fooled by "the best price ever" speech they try to give you.

Thanks for the heads up, I was going to go down with my wheelbarrow full of gold Good job its on the website these people want stopping if they are doing what the greedy bankers are doing and making extortionate profits out of people with no money, and the only way they can get money for Christmas is selling there posessions. It is also very bad timing  just before Christmas, when people need extra money, what a backdoor way of getting money out of the poorFrown

Thank you for the knowledge Sipsi we have been looking at the difference between the one at the leisure centre which we think is the one wrote on the flyer ROYAL MINT METALS and HATTON GARDEN METALS here are the examples per troy ounce of scrap gold.

Royal mint leisure centre                           Hatton garden metals, this is not up to like royal mint this

                                                                 what they pay

9ct up to £140 troy ounce                       9ct £239.51  troy ounce

15ct up to £180                                       15ct £399.18

18ct up to £280                                       18ct  £479.02

22ct up to £350                                       22ct £585 .47

We think the council in there wisdom should stop this in its tracks as it is taking the residents for idiots again we know its a village but were not village idiots. If the council dont stop it you can assume the council are taking a cut when they sell the gold on or our favourite is charging a large amount for the hire of the ivory tower oh sorry leisure centre. These prices are todays prices from Hatton garden, we also cannot understand why the royal mint are saying UP TO  on there prices this to us, is a get out so they dont have to pay  even the low price.

We have sent an urgent email to the council tonight to stop this from going ahead as it is daylight robbery. thanx to everyone who visits we really appreciate you looking.

Footnote; We have tried the royal mint metals email address but it keeps coming back failed so if any of you try let us know if you get through.

A similar organisation were at the Anchor at Clowne the other week out of curiosity I called to ask their prices they only pay top price if the jewelry is in good condition i.e. re-sell-able as jewelry not broken or damaged in ANY way. I asked their price for total scrap gold broken chains, bangles, rings etc. if it is NO GOOD (their terminology not mine) they pay between £2.00 and £6.00 per gram £2.00 for 9ct. and £6.00 for 22ct. These scroungers want exposing as to what they are con men. Don't be duped! This organisation is NOTHING at all to do with “THE ROYAL MINT” but it does look good on their flyer's (a breech of trade description maybe?)But no doubt un-traceable after they have got your gold and disappeared into the night to turn up some where else under a different name.

Perhaps research should be done on these rogue traders setting up in the village centre before they are allowed to trade.

               But

“ours is not to reason why?”

           OR IS IT?

Check     “livecharts.co.uk” for up to the minute prices on all commodities including gold & silver.

P.S. these organisations have no regulation at all, take in your jewelry etc. get your money,no questions asked as to where you obtained the goods legally or not,it opens a whole new door on how to fence stolen goods.

Nice to know people in high places condone such practises.

I hope no one was conned by these gold diggers as the buying OR fencing of gold did take place, I wandered down Sunday, and parked conveniently by the sports hall was a Transit pick up with greedy boards on very similar to the ones used by travellers to collect scrap in, don't know who it belongs to, but makes you think doesn't it ? I just hope any gold sold was legitimate as it is now long gone and untraceable.

It's just a pity the council can't do as much for “old tups” shop on Bridge Street all profits to the restoration of the village church, been in this morning he tells me the council wouldn't let him use the old Kwik Save due to health and safety concerns, he only has this shop for a fortnight and any custom would be greatly appreciated (did get some nice books myself) any donations can be dropped of at the shop. Please show your support as members of the community, the council don't seem to be bothered, probably nothing in it for them!

P.S. Didn't see Natasha or her merry band of free loaders at THIS opening !!!

Heard an item on Radio 4 You and Yours today discussing the TV advertised Cash4gold and Postal Gold – they were offering something like 50% of the current gold market value but another web based connected company was offering something like 95%

There is a price comparison on 9ct 20grammes £130 on line of about £32 to £37 through the postal TV advertised companies.  Not sure how that compares to the prices indicated above.  Not sure what conversion of Troy and grammes is.

My grouse isn't specifically about the prices paid for scrap gold I just wanted people to be aware of the huge differences being paid between these fly by night scroungers and legitimate bullion dealers, my main concern is that these village centre organisations and door knockers have no regulation at all, any ill gotten goods can be disposed of easily and with no questions asked, how easy do we make it for thieves and burglars to dispose of their spoils and it seems with the backing of the local council by hiring out the village centre for these activities to take place, don't even suppose the police bother to check on the credibility or maybe keep an eye on their dealings, with the rampant abuse outside the centre and shady goings on inside maybe the local drug dealers should try and hire a room now winter is nearing, wouldn't want them to have to stand out in the cold now would we?

The council dont want old tups in the old quick save as this would disrupt there plans to build the flats and sell them of to unsuspecting people who would fall into there trap and buy them. The people would then have the noise and gauntlet running to contend with at the bottom of killamarsh but by then the council would have pulled the ladder upFrown

This is the latest email from the correspondence with the council and Natascha Engels office, they are  forwarded to us as we have been questioning there methods of booking people that we are led to believe are not qualified, and anybody can set up and take peoples gold or stolen gold for that matter without comeback and can walk away with a fortune tax free.

From: Killamarsh Parish Council [mailto:paul.harding@killamarsh-pc.gov.uk]
Sent: 30 November 2009 10:33
To: TURNER, Lucy
Subject: RE: Extortionate gold prices at leisure centre killamarsh

Hi Lucy

This whole question is being reviewed at the next meeting of the Parish Council where the current bookings protocol will be reconsidered.

We will write to you again shortly.
