The fly tipping in killamarsh is getting out of hand this is the tenth year, we were told that the allotment owner brian who has had to clean it up, he says it is just ridiculous why can’t there be stiffer sentences for fly tippers these allotments are at sheffield road just under the bridge. comments please

UPDATE: One of the allotment owners with a few of the stones thrown from the railway bridge, one has gone through the table. He says they also throw them at passing cars and it wont be long before somebody is terribly injured or killed. He says if anybody sees anything please report it.

 

 

    More rubbish dumped on the allotments over xmas when are the council going to clamp down on these illegal dumpers.

Rubbish is being dumped at the back of parkside shopping centre again why do they do it, it looks so much like a third world country that does’nt have refuse collections.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The rubbish is still there and getting worse needles and nappies are a health hazzard.

Why have other villages got momentoes to there mining history and killamarsh has’nt anything to show this was once a proud mining community and miners died getting coal to the surface at least these should be remembered. Please comment.

Has any resident of killamarsh heard what is happening with the canal it seems as though it has been forgotten.

The skateboard park is about to go ahead, it will open in june is it a good thing or bad. The people of killamarsh are very dubious about bringing more trouble to the bottom of  killamarsh the recent complaints about drunken teenagers running riot at the leisure centre, and surrounding streets. The authorities cannot cope with the youths now, so bringing more on to the scene will create more heartache for nearby residents .we think it would have been a good idea to have a skate board park if the situation with the youths had been addessed before it had been built. Nobody has said how it is going to be policed after it shuts at 10.00 pm, a few hundred youths turning out at that time cannot be good unless it is policed properly. We have also printed the piece out of the leader about the £300 millon leisure park that is going to be built on the rother valley surely the council could have saved our money and waited for this to be built as we feel sure the teenagers wont be wanting to go to the leisure centre when that is built.
