Skateboard park

November 10th, 2009 1 comment

skate-board-resizeThe skateboard park is about to go ahead, it will open in june is it a good thing or bad. The people of killamarsh are very dubious about bringing more trouble to the bottom of  killamarsh the recent complaints about drunken teenagers running riot at the leisure centre, and surrounding streets. The authorities cannot cope with the youths now, so bringing more on to the scene will create more heartache for nearby residents .we think it would have been a good idea to have a skate board park if the situation with the youths had been addessed before it had been built. Nobody has said how it is going to be policed after it shuts at 10.00 pm, a few hundred youths turning out at that time cannot be good unless it is policed properly. We have also printed the piece out of the leader about the £300 millon leisure park that is going to be built on the rother valley surely the council could have saved our money and waited for this to be built as we feel sure the teenagers wont be wanting to go to the leisure centre when that is built. Please give us your comments especially if you live nearby the leisure centre
