No gritters no ploughs why

December 1st, 2010 Comments off

Again no gritters no snowploughs in Killamarsh again havent the council taken the lessons in from last year, there has been even less grit and snowploughs we are sure you can sue the council if they have not tried at all to clear the roads and the emergency services cannot get to your house because of it. If a few four by four cars can get through were sure a big snowplough can get through. The picture is of the manor estate. For original size photo go to main page thanks

Whats this? How much money has it cost us? Who sanctioned it?

September 7th, 2010 Comments off

leisure centreRROKA have received a report detailing a new entrance structure at the Leisure centre. We think it looks like overbearing and a waste of money… Are the council trying to tell us something, could the money not be used better elsewhere? The infrastructure of Killamarsh is eroding away, and they build a thing like that..? Comments are welcome, or join our discussion thread for this concern!

Canal taking its time

September 5th, 2010 Comments off

We are in the process of asking the european commission why work has not started on the Killamarsh part of the canal as work should have started some time ago perhaps it will clean Killamarsh up in the process. The august 23rd 2010 unveiling of the supposed plans seem to have fallen on  deaf ears, something should have started by now we need the boats and tourists to put Killamarsh on the map. If tourists come to Killamarsh we may get more police on the streets to clean the place up. Larger photo in original post
