@Newt Yes you have hit one of the problems on the head, they have kids they go back to work after six months, the kids are shunted from pillar to post grow up attached to nobody, no bond with parents and like, then expect them to be civilised citizens. Cheers

Think its the two job families who dont really have to work..I just cant understand why you would go ahead and have a family when you cant afford NOT to work. Think those who go to work through choice when they have kids are selfish individuals…

@Manager I don't think we have that many teenage parents in the village. The problem is pretentious two job families who think someone else will look after their offspring 'cos they either can't or can't be bothered.

@Newt Its a good idea to fine the parents, but the problem is the parents are only children themselves, its kids bringing kids up, thats were they lose respect.

@fatbloke_2000_uk Yes I saw the same van, they must have stolen it because they did'nt look as if they were going to throw a lot of work about,I think they use the van to fetch the councils sandwiches.

I noticed a Parish Council liveried vehicle today i think – or was it a mirage. I do remember the guy in the green astra van thing who used to remove illegal signs etc,could it be a return to value for council tax.

It always comes back to the police…we need the police in Killamarsh..and to be fair we do pay the most council tax in North East Derbyshire so think we at least deserve that much…The elderly have lived all there lives working, bringing up there family paying there taxes so they for one deserve to live without fear for the remainder of there lives.
Its the parents of the yobs who are at fault.. it seems they are allowed out at all hours…..The parents just havnt taught there children how to respect people and other peoples property… if the parents start getting fined for there out of control kids maybe things may alter.
I dread to think what state the country will be in when im older…..

I keep noticing the street sweeper on his little machine. Never see him sweeping the streets, just enjoying his breakfast at the Cafe on Bridge Street.
