Call me a bit dumb if you want but does’nt everybody pay these bills out of there wages or am I wrong, the other reciepts on her website are for dvd recorders and others things please have a look on her website it will open your eyes what they can claim for, so when you vote at the next election I’ll be the one to vote  for as we need a new cooker, fridge freezer the kids also need somewhere to live rent free so when your voting at the polling station I will be under the Not Very Greedy Party the NVGP for short please comment.

    It’s not so much that they claimed for a 2 grand Sofa, it’s that is was actually approved and paid! Who the hell was vetting that and what guidelines where they adhering to, none i don’t expect! That is terrible! Makes me wish I was an MP!

    As you quite correctly point out. She claimed for something that she was ALLOWED to claim for. The system allows it. When did YOU ever get offerred something and refused it?

    AND, as you say in you opener, :
    “so when you vote at the next election I’ll be the one to vote for as we need a new cooker, fridge freezer the kids also need somewhere to live rent free”. So if it was offerred, you would claim for it too!

    I would imagine that if anyone is told what they can claim for, then they will do.
    But I must admit, the best I get away with is £5 for lunch whilst out of the office, and NO, if I don’t buy any lunch, or visit a customer and share their subsidized canteen, “I DO NOT CLAIM THE FIVER” [lie]….
    signed Pinochio……

    @Chris
    Yes you can bet your bottom doller I would claim, missing out on robbing the poor and needy tax payer, especially when I dont need the money, and can put my wages straight into an offshore bank account. Also if I got caught I would get a golden handshake and a fantastic pension, it is WIN WIN WIN WHOOOPEE. Thanks for comments keep them coming.

    We like to moan about the MP’s , who are working and paying tax. How many of you would report benefit cheats or buy copied dvd’s?

  7. June 4th, 2009 at 20:58 | #7

    Thank you for the comments. The difference between the two is plain to see the benefit cheats and dvd copiers know there doing wrong and if caught they get a criminal record and probably a custodial sentence. The MPs on the other hand say there not doing anything wrong, sorry, I did’nt realise I was fleecing the nation, I’ll pay it back and carry on as if nothing happened. There is only one rule and thats for us not for them.

    I think the two home subsidy should be restricted, to the home only. Similarly the home nearest the constituency or where they lived when elected should be the family or main home and no flipping allowed.

    My point was the people bemoaning the mp’s don’t get uppity when they watch an illegal dvd.

    @fatbloke_2000_uk
    Who invented the flipping of houses. When I work in London I have to pay my own board and lodgins, as being self employed, and when I claim for it on my tax they give me a third back, so I am two thirds out of pocket the MPs get it all back what is the difference.
