Yeah well blame the council..they cant even keep the footpath clear let alone sort the newt pond out!!!!!
Yes the footpaths are slowly being run down and not looked after, anybody in the know, knows that if the council leave it long enough, they say it has’nt been used for years so that it is an excuse to either build on it or sell it off to the nearest house.
Yep think your rite there…It doesnt help that the residents who back on to the footpath throw all there garden rubbish over the fence..sometime making it impossible to use the footpath…So come on folk…do as we do and either hire a skip or deposit it in your green bin…just because its there doesnt give you the right to use it as a dumping ground..that also goes for them who back on to the lane!!!!!!!
@Newt
Yes you are correct about the dumping,we are supposed to have a footpath walker from the council but we have’nt seen him in killamarsh since william the conquerer
landed. If he walked regular he would see that our footpaths are such a state,but we think and it is only a thought he is paid to keep away so not to rock the boat if you get the meaning. If anybody wants to get intouch with the path walker his name is Dan Hickey at the county council thanx again.
Just a note on the newt pond – we used to rent the land opposite which has a pond in it as well,full of newts.
Flytipping by the homeowners has always been terrible yet they feel they have the right to complain when i was burning rubbish on the land.
@fatbloke_2000_uk
As long as it was good toxic rubbish you were burning they should’nt have a problem.
